Summary: Aspen Transitional Rehab
We are a 30 bed subacute rehab facility. We are currently searching for either a full-time NOC or day shift nurse. 12 hour shifts x3 or 12 hour shifts x4.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress
- Assist with specimen collection processing and laboratory coordination
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Utilize electronic health record systems (Matrix) for documentation and communication
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Assist with procedures
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
- Experience working with geratric individuals is a plus
Skills:
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems (Matrix)
